There are two levels of NABOB annual membership:

• STANDARD:
  Open to radio stations, television stations and networks that are at least 51% controlled by African-Americans.

• ASSOCIATE:
  Open to non-Black owned/Black formatted radio stations, television stations and networks; commercial telecommunications providers; internet companies; equipment suppliers; manufacturers; advertisers agencies; research firms; programmers; law firms; MESBICS; Financial institutions; consultants; non-commercial/educational stations; communication schools & departments; professional organizations; students; and others interested in supporting NABOB’s objectives.
